San Francisco’s Garage Homes

San Francisco is full of expensive picturesque neighborhoods, but inside many properties, tucked into garages are hidden homes.

We spoke with a resident in her home after the Filipino Community Center in San Francisco hosted a press conference to bring attention to a report published by the Asian Law Caucus titled “Our Hidden Communities: Secondary Unit Households in the Excelsior Neighborhood of San Francisco.”
